Above the village the hills are pale stone and scrub. Pilgrims climb to the cross and to the apparition path, then return to the parish church where evening Mass gathers many languages into one hour. The air is dry; the paths are worn smooth.
A pilgrim of Palomeya walks those paths and remains for the Mass with your names. Palomeya does not settle questions about the place. It only sends someone who will go, pray, and keep the visit simple.
